We recently posted several preview clips of Isaac Florentine’s upcoming martial arts actioner NINJA starring Scott Adkins and here now is a longer, more complete video preview with even more footage and behind-the-scenes interviews with cast and crew.

This one comes from Scott Adkins Fanz. They’ve also passed along four new images.

All these recent ninja movies makes me wonder... why can't we get Ninja Gaiden turned into a decent ninja flick? The games are phenomenal and always have been, and they sell big time. I know DOA was a major let down, but let's face it... movies based on fighting tournament games are bound to be formulaic and kinda lame given that all the games they are based on are based on Enter The Dragon and nothing can top that one. Ninja Gaiden would make for an awesome movie... and, perhaps more importantly, they could come up with an entirely original story for it that's independent of the current games and the old ones so long as Ryu Hayabusa is there and there's some whacked out demons for him to fight.

who cares if the dude is white? its not like theyre trying to make him Asian or anything. isnt this movie supposed to be a vehicle for Scott Adkins anyway? i just want to see what the guy can do and see some cool ninja action. every movie doesnt have to make a political statement or be super realistic.

Michael Dudikoff made Ninja Movies, isn't it?

Finally a white guy gets a break in film about asian martial traditions. Bruce would be proud.

Ok…so, technically true. We did see an enlightened transition from caucasians being cast in asian leads to simply removing the asian lead and constructing scenarios where we could focus on a caucasian character with a backdrop of traditional asian martial culture. The spirit of the comment still holds though. I would find a story highlighting the martial culture more interesting without this seemingly artificial scenario, all other things being equal.

Your comment would work if the movie wasn't made to be centered around Adkins from the get-go.
