I don't remenber a character name Bruce Lee in the Green Hornet, I do remember a character name Kato, which is the character Jay Chou is playing, he's not playing Bruce Lee, yes we would prefer Jet, Donnie or Chow, but lets face it those guys are not going to play sidekick to an untallented comidian like Seth Rogan, which I believed was the reason Chow drooped out. I'm not expecting nothing great but I hope the movie surprise me and lets give Chou a chance he's not a bad actor, just watch Initial D, Curse of the Golden Flower or even Kung Fu Dunk, they are good entertaiment movie that you can easily more the once, you should be more worried about Seth Rogan playing the Green Hornet.

True... American movies can make a stiff and weird looking punch and kick from Hollywood actors look like the person was a master of kung fu for ages.

Jay Chou is the bomb! Qing hua ci, faraway, and ju hua tai all were good songs and killer music videos. Modern pop music mixed with a nice chinese melody.

Those twinky asian americans need to listen to chinese music more before getting pissed about why Jay Chou is even considered!

Chill out people, Jay Chou is the Shit! He dont need to be Bruce Lee, the original wasnt all that good anyways. Bruce Lee wasnt defined by Green Hornet. American movies can turn crappy kung fu into the coolest thing the world would see outside the US.
I am glad for Jay Chou, now he can show the world his music talent, style, and Modern-Chinese pop culture.

And if you dont know who Jay Chou is, just look on the internet, he is the next big hit China has to offer, meaning all China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Oh my god. Jay Chou will make grandmaster Bruce Lee turned in his grave. Who is Jay Chou? A non martial arts practitioner to portray a kung fu expert in Kato?.
All Bruce Lee's fans of the world should be crying. Remember the comment from Donny Yen on the film, I forgotten the tittle, with Chow Yun Fatt and Gong Li? The current best cinema fighter commented that Jay Chou was dancing not fighting in all those action scenes of that film. Oh my god.

I'm going to reply simply because I feel spoken to directly.No Kato doesn't have to be male.No Kato doesnt even have to be a martila artist. But when a role becomes defined by a specific trait thats what you judge it by. Also the Green Hornets popularity is because of Bruce Lee's portrayal of Kato.As for “self-righteous nerd rage”,I post with my real name,I don't call other people names,and I respect everyones oppinions. Even yours. :)
