Actor, stunt man, and martial artist Andre “Chyna” McCoy, has several projects during 2009. For those unfamiliar with his work he was the stunt double for Laurence Fishburne’s Morpheus character in the Matrix. Chyna has also starred in several underground action films including RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE, GAME OVER, and the Jesse Johnson’s PIT FIGHTER.

Currently Chyna has two tournament style fighting movies out on DVD one called TKO the other called GAME OVER. Both films are full of action, violence, and martial arts. Chyna always seems to kick ass in the end. The two movies also feature the action actor Daz Crawford. Crawford also starred as Lighthammer in BLADE 2.

McCoy recently wrapped up filming in Las Vegas on the film RED HERRING, which also stars Vincent Pastore of Soprano’s fame and Holly Valance from DOA and TAKEN. He provides this exclusive on set candid picture from RED HERRING with Holly Valance in the Hummer.

In addition to RED HERRING, Chyna also completed work on director Kantz’s 2010 film PROJECT PURGATORY. The movie is an action horror film and he plays the role of Shinji. A trailer for PROJECT PURGATORY can be found on Youtube.

In Early November Chyna heads off to Hong Kong to play a major role in the action comedy KUNG FU HERO. Chyna states “I have a work Visa for three months, and am scheduled to leave November 3rd… As for the character, I will be a villain, however, I am not sure of all of the details. I am looking forward to work on a high quality production.” Look for future set reports on KUNG FU HERO.

In addition the the acting McCoy is in the process of developing his own action trilogy entitled BAYNE. Bayne is a half breed Werewolf set on defending humanity from the evil Vampires and Werewolves.
