‘Coweb’ star Jiang Lu-xia interviewed

Wu-Jing.org has translated into English an interview with new fighting actress Jiang Lu-xia, star of Xiong Xin-xin’s actioner COWEB. Jiang talks about her background in wushu, her initial rise to fame on the internet in a series of short films under the identity of “Kitty Darling” and her recent break into the film industry where she was discovered by Xiong and cast in his directorial debut, COWEB, which opened in China on May 15th.

COWEB has already been released on DVD in mainland China but without English subtitles. The film is currently represented internationally by Arclight Films. No subsequent distribution deals have been announced yet.

Jiang Lu-xia will next be seen in action director Yuen Woo-ping’s wire-fu actioner TRUE LEGEND.
