This Hong Kong DVD release of the Shaw Brothers kung fu classic DISCIPLES OF SHAOLIN features the typically minimal, yet reliable package one expects from Intercontinental Video Limited post 2003. That means limited bonus content and English-language options while the restored film is at least presented in anamorphic widescreen with original Mandarin or Cantonese dialogue in two-channel mono and optional Chinese or English subtitles.

  • a great film, the main story is dead in the Fu Sheng kung fu champion must eventually died in the hands of her enemies, fu Sheng gash and bloody fighting in the blood of so many enemies

    you know mark, i often wonder why dvd companies even put in "production notes" considering most of the time it is just a brief synopsis of the film. i guess they just try to beef up their special features, but jesus....like we wouldnt know this by watching the film
