‘Dogs of Chinatown’ clips

By Mark Pollard | Published August 29, 2008

Two exclusive clips have appeared over at Twitch for indie director Micah Moore’s stylish martial arts noir pic DOGS OF CHINATOWN, starring The Stunt People founder Eric Jacobus. This new footage follows the previously released pre-ADR trailer.

DOGS OF CHINATOWN is Moore’s first feature-length film and the second for Jacobus who starred in and directed his own low-budget martial arts actioner, CONTOUR, along with fellow members of Southern California-based stunt team The Stunt People.

The action should be good, though I fear the film itself might be too melodramatic. "Contour" was a lot of fun and pretty impressive for an amateur production; however, the acting wasn't nearly as polished as the action (despite the fact that they were trying to be campy), and that made the film (for me) a bit difficult to watch at times.
