Jaron Pitts, who previously made waves on the web by releasing a fantastic fan trailer for GREEN LANTERN from a mash-up of different movies is at it again. This time, he has made a fan trailer depicting a mock live-action adaptation of TECHNOTISE: EDIT & I, an animated cyberpunk actioner that premiered last year.
Pitts’ second fan trailer is extremely well cut, so much so that if I hadn’t seen most of the films that his scenes are drawn from, I could believe this is real trailer for a real movie. I know someone is still going to end up confused so to make it clear, the following trailer is a fan-made mock-up. The interesting twist is that Pitts was actually commissioned by producers Scott Glassgold and Raymond Brothers to make the trailer for a pitch to studios which means this film could become a reality.

TECHNOTISE: EDIT & I takes place in 2074 and concerns a struggling psychology student in Belgrade named Edit who opts to get a military-grade memory chip implant from a black market dealer to help her grades. Her memory improves as a result but soon the chip begins to take over her mind and body. Edit must race to restore her rapidly disappearing humanity while evading forces desperate to recover the valuable chip inside her.
The animated film is a sequel to the “Technotise” comic book created by Aleksa Gajić and Darko Grkinić.
What isn’t shown so much in Pitts’ fan trailer is the stylized MATRIX-like fighting action found in the animated TECHNOTISE. I recommend watching the real trailer for the animated film to get the full idea of what a real live-action version could end up looking like. I’ve also include Pitts’ previous GREEN LANTERN fan trailer.
