A new music video for Chinese pop star Elva Hsiao’s “More More More” song off her 3-Faced album features martial arts star Jacky Wu Jing sparring with the singer in a mock fight he was called in to choreograph.
Despite the hardships of filming the scenes, Hsiao reportedly expressed interest in becoming a female action star and put out an open call for action directors to consider her.
I can’t say much for the music but it’s nice to see Wu Jing keeping busy between acting gigs. His role as action director on the video may suggest he’s looking to do more of his own fight choreography. He recently co-directed his latest film, LEGENDARY ASSASSIN, with INVISIBLE TARGET action director Nicky Li.
