First look at Jackie Chan’s ‘Little Big Soldier’

International poster art and several production pics from Jackie Chan period action comedy LITTLE BIG SOLDIER (aka JUNIOR SOLDIERS) have begun circulating on the web. The poster, with its depiction of Chan in earthy period garb casually crouched with an arrow sticking out of his chest and a yellow bird on his head, suggests the movie might be a welcome comedic take on the big-budget, period war films that have been filling up Asian screens with the likes of RED CLIFF and THE WARLORDS.

A foot soldier and a general from rival states became the sole survivors of a war. As they’re pursued by the general’s brother who would kill anyone for the throne, the soldier also struggled if he should betray the general for the ticket home.

Written and produced by Chan, LITTLE BIG SOLDIER is directed by Ding Sheng and stars Jackie Chan, Yoo Seung-jun, Wang Lee-hom, Peng Lin, and Mei Xiao-dong.

The film is expected to be released in Asia this October.

i LOVE THE CINEMATOGRAPPY AND THE BACKGROUND. Yes JAckie has come to his senses and i was getting tired of the same crap over and over.

I know this will be a big hit blockbuster and i hope the U.S. pick it up to release it in the theatres. hope fully it gets release on bluray.

    Good going Jackie.

He did excellent in shinjuku incident and i'm hoping they release it wide in the U.S. for people to see a different side of jackie.

I heard he is going to make another epic biographical movie on a War General and i hope yuen woo ping or tony sui tong directs it and pure action no comedy just intense action.

Excellent photos and i also the costumes and the look of the fil look promising.

I can't wait for this to come out. The frist was the myth which was great, the new police story wich was incredile , then the shinjuku incident and now this i'm a die hard fan since the days os snake and crane art of shoalin , so that says a lot.

Hope fully it is like jet li warlords.

I hope the fights scenes are off the hook. I wish it was choreographed by zhang yimou and tony sui tong.

Gook lookign Jackie. After the myth i had wanted something new and refreshing. I hope he continues to change. He mad shinjuku incident which is straight gangster thriller and now this am loving the photos.

Hopefully he makes drunken master 3 with tony jaa and wu jin.

I hope htis looks like jet li n warlords but it look similiar though.

We love you jackie and please no more of those wacky comedy movies please.

As long as it is drama and thrilller just like you did in crie story.

Great photos and seting and I can't to see it.

Any one know when the shinjuku incident is coming out on dvd because i heard it was mind blowing.

I'm hoping for more photos from. I'm hoping for more epics from him amd please no more rush hours.
