The first production images from directors John Woo and Terence Chang’s upcoming wuxia film RAIN OF SWORDS have appeared.

Michelle Yeoh stars as an assassin responsible for the death of a prominent court official, who comes into possession of the remains of legendary Indian prince Bodhidharma. She opts to return the remains to their rightful place but her former associates want them for a powerful secret they hold. She undergoes facial reconstruction and goes into hiding where she meets the slain official’s son (Jung Woo-sung) and falls in love without knowing his true identity. Assassins eventually catch up with Yeoh and Jung as they discover each other’s identity and a tense, three-way standoff ensues.
