First video of Randy Couture in ‘Expendables’

The first video footage of Sylvester Stallone’s THE EXPENDABLES to make its way to the web is a promo that Sly put together for a UFC match between Couture and Antonio Nogueira that takes place on August 29. Sly is shown interviewing the men in between snippets of set and film footage depicting Couture in action.

In this related video, Couture appears in a longer interview where he talks about working on the film; his character, working with a dream team and having Dolph Lundgren’s trainer keeping him in shape for future fights. The film-related discussion ends approximately at the 2:30 mark.

THE EXPENDABLES is an all-star actioner written and directed by Stallone and featuring a cast of action heavyweights that includes Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke, Gary Daniels and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in a cameo.

In the film, Stallone leads a group of mercenaries hired to overthrow a South American dictator.
