Sammo used to use this quite a bit in his films and it looks pretty neat. What's the best way to make and use it and can it be washed out? - my Chinese suits are £30 each!!!

Baby powder seems to work well for most people. Might take a little water to get out though, depending on the brand and fabric, but it should come out fine.

Credit to eric jacobus of the stunt people, first read about the baby powder on their forum.

Gymnastics chalk is good too, not as slippery :eek

We used baby powder at the warehouse where we're doing Contour and we were slipping all over the place. It's fine on rough surfaces, just not smooth ones.

I think that's what I heard... meanwhile, I created my own "power powder" for a high school action film I made 6 years ago. It was a combination of body powder and charcoal ashes. Probably not entirely safe, but it looked good :p

Jackie Chan tends to use it too as well. He used it in the broken chair demo in Jackie Chan: My Stunts and When Ken Low kicked Chris Tucker in Rush Hour, powder was used.

I remember a bey Logan audio track where he said in any other country in the world, keeping your stars away from white powder would be a good thing, lol.
