MiniDV camcorder recommendations

I am looking for a decent but affordable MiniDV camcorder that can:
- shoot at true 16:9 anamorphic widescreen
- has focusing capabilities to blur out the background and focus on subjects
- nice color range

Any recommendations?

I can't afford a Canon XL2 or anything on the prosumer end.

Hmm... nobody has any suggestions? Well, I'm just looking at the Canon Optura 60 right now. Does anyone have this camcorder to make any of their own opinions for me? I'm thinking of using it for independent filmmaking and I'm looking at this because it would be easier to carry around, especially if you have to shoot footage guerilla-style. :rollin
