Nice list B. Early 80s MTV was amazing.
Sad to see the direction it has gone but c'est la vie.

MTV lost its relevance a long time ago. It is now pandering to the lowest common denominator, and has little to do with music at all.

The documentary series "True Life" is actually very good for the most part, but the vast majority of MTV's programming is total shit now. Shows like "Teen Mom" and "My Super Sweet 16" make me want to puke. I realize that, at 34, I'm way out of MTV's target demographic, but how anyone besides retarded crackheads can watch that crap is beyond me.

yeah MTV is just flat out ridiculous. That is so dumb using the old logo with the reality stars behind it...let's all wait til the cast of Jersey Shore head behind the logo and just kick the damn logo down!!! LOL :P
