Can anyone reccomend any good ones? I have got these:
Undefeatable
China O'Brien 1 & 2
Above the Law
No Retreat No Surrender 2
Rage and Hour 1 & 2
Shanghi Express
I am find it hard to find any movies on DVD like Tiger Claws, Magic Crystal etc.
Where can I get these titles?, I use to have them on video but I dumped them a few years ago to save space as I thought they might come out on DVD!
Copies would be fine :xd:
I am from England.

She also kicks major ass in the HK flicks CITY COPS and BLONDE FURY (aka. ABOVE THE LAW 2).

Guardian Angel is a pretty good one - she plays a bodyguard who has to protect this rich playboy. The guy that plays him is priceless.

Well, I'm biased because I'll watch anything with Cyn in, but these are all readily available on DVD in the UK and can be picked up really cheaply (especially on Ebay)
Martial Law 1 & 2
Sworn To Justice
Outside The Law
Guardian Angel
Sci-Fighter
Prince Of The Sun
Honor & Glory
There is a Region 1 dvd of Tiger Claws 2, but I'm looking for Part 1 myself. There's also a Polish dvd of 'Lady Dragon' which is regularly on Ebay, and is cheaper than the OOP Region 1 dvd

If I could copy dvd's then I would hook you up with a bunch of them, but sadly I can't
However, I do have a spare original Hong Kong dvd of 'Inspector Wears Skirts' if you want it (for free). I also have a spare dvd of Sci-Fighter. Let me know

I liked Yes Madam, even though I guess she was heavily doubled in that.

Yeah, how'd it take so long for one of us to mention that one?! Cynthia's fight with Yuen Biao is a classic in this one too.

One of my favourite ladies in action movies, and was lucky enough to see a lot of her movies on the big screen when they were released.
Watched a more recent ( in the last 12 - 14 years??) movie release of hers though and she didn't look too well and didn't do much fight action in it either. Don't recall the name of the movie, but do remember being a sad that she had lost all of that ZING she used to have.

She played herself in the action film AMERICAN TIGERS, as the trainer of the titular group, which included Rorion Gracie, Sam J. Jones, and Clayton Barber...sort of a contemporary B-version of The Dirty Dozen.

How good is "Magic Crystal?" I've watched the trailer and it looks really entertaining. I, however, have never bothered trying to get a hold of it. Is there a Region 1 DVD available?

Wrote this short review on hkflix, if that is any help.....
Magic Crystal
Wong Jing throws awesome action, cheap special effects, weird sci-fi elements, and crazy comedy into a seemingly pointless plot, all while ripping off every Spielberg movie of the day, and casting himself as a lead character. And to be honest, I could have gone my whole life without seeing him take a dump. But despite the low brow shenanigans and the uneven blend of genres, this insane hybrid of a film is actually pretty damn enjoyable.
This is a movie that only could have come out of HK. And only from the warped mind of Wong Jing. This thing is all over the place and tries so many things that, just by way of sheer statistics, it is bound to get at least some of them right. But as a whole, it is still a pretty surreal experience.
The whole thing with the kid and his alien friend, in the form of a fossilized piece of goo with magic powers, is just too ridiculous for words. This is Wong Jing at his unrestrained best--or worst, depending on your tolerance for his special brand of weirdness. The movie is poorly constructed, poorly paced, and never stops to check if it's actually making any sense. Why the film is partly set in Greece, of all places, is another headscratcher. And some of the characters are just too annoying for their own good, and yours. But despite all these flaws, it still somehow manages to end up as a strangely satisfying and thoroughly entertaining piece of cheesy 80's trash.
The main reason for that is the awesome action. Tony Leung Siu Hung's fight choreo is extremely tight. And you can't help but think that action this good deserved to be in a better movie. An excellent mix of the usual hyped up kickboxing stuff and classic kung fu styles. Andy Lau never looked better in action than he does here. And when Cynthia Rothrock and Richard Norton start throwing down, it's happy hour for fight fans everywhere.
If you can take the good with the bad, then you should definitely check this movie out. Because, good taste aside, this kind of cinematic HK craziness is now a thing of the past.

Thanks Tibetan White Crane. It certainly sounds like a mixed back and, if I can find it for a good price, I may have to pick it up.

Rothrock was only in Part 2, but she did become really good friends with Loren Avedon. He is actually the godfather to her daughter. I found that out when I had talked to Avedon over the phone for an interview back in 1999.
I saw clips of Manhattan Chase, directed by Godfrey Ho and they had some nice fights.

I finally got around to starting "Prince of the sun" and what an atrocious UK DVD release. But if it wasn't bad enough the sides of the image have been chopped off to make it into a pan and scan 4:3 picture, the English dub is diabolical. I've stopped the movie for now, maybe I'll try again later?

I have Guardian Angel and it's my favorite although I've been looking for years for Tiger Claws without luck. Why is it they've never released any of her films in a "special edition?"
