Guns and Zombie Effects

What is the best (and cheapest) way to produce a good Zombie makeup effect? Also, how can you add a good looking flash to fake guns?

Well, an easy way to make a simple but okay zombie make-up is: lots of powder in the actors face to make them pale, and then some black around the eyes. voÃ*la! ;)

And for the muzzle flashes.. Hmm, depends. What software do you use?

For the zombies you want to go to a joke shop and get some fake scars and cuts and boils and ugly teeth should be easy to get with Halloween just round the corner.

For gun flashes you can yours adobe photo shop or alum dv I think that’s what its called:rolleyes some one correct me if Im wrong.
