Does anybody know what Lo Meng's workout consisted of? I recall hearing he didnt do much weight training at all....




and what about Jackie/Bruce?How about Donnie?

Donnie Yen likes BodyBuilding ! He has worked out at Gold's Gym in Venice ,CA ( before at least ) & he knows several of the pros ( Bodybuilders ) out there. Sammo owns A VERY COOL gym in HK ( Boxing, Kickboxing & weights ) & Donnie goes there too.
I would think ( pure speculation ) he has some very decent home equipment too .
The timing of this question is interesting, since Donnie is planing on gaining weights for his new historical general movie I would think he is definitely increasing his weigh routine now. With his genetics it will be interesting to see what he looks like heavier since I know he likes the ripped & not too bloated ( holding water/fat ) looks ??

In the commentary for 5DV Bey Logan says that Lo Meng would pull on tree branches to get resistance for strength training instead of weights. This sounds kind of wierd.

It is not really so weird, kind of a natural way to use the modern type of exercise bands ?
My dad used to put my brother & I through a "tree workout " when we were camping & noting else around to use .
The before mentioned branches ( for isometric flexing tension ) ,chins. pull ups ,dips all performed on branches etc.

I've seen a few of Jackie's workout regimes

One is he likes to run the treadmill at times wearing literally 4 layers of clothing. I saw this on a MTV Special of his back a few years ago.

The other is he does some kickboxing routines and works out with his stunt team on some weights and other various exercises. It was seen in Jackie Chan: My Stunts

i think on My Story he said he wakes up and runs like either 4 or 8 miles every day, then goes through high reps of light weights....and then goes through all of his basic kung fu forms......



thats gotta take a lot of time lol




i was wondering about his younger days also...when he was cut up like hell in DM and SitES
