I can't remember the Sweeney doing any heavy moves in their platforms. As a nation we are limited to axe wielding knights and archers for entertainment. I suppose John Statham might be the exception aka 'The transporter'. There again 101 Harmonies productions have some interesting things up their sleeves. :\

There's one coming out next year, called "The Audition", featuring Wai-Po Tang, and Kate Maberly. It will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival for starters.
There's not a lot much else UK wise, because we seem to get hung up on east-end drug gangs instead of Martial arts culture.
We need a British Kill Bill! "Kill The Old Bill"??????
:eek

The first 2 are DV movies (I'm working on the first), but are properly produced and aren't some cheap camcorder job!
The last one is shot on Super 16 if I remember right.
Brit martial arts films are picking up pace.
