Game of Death (HKL Single disc v Platinum)

Is there any difference between the two transfers of the film? The Platinum edition uses the Media Asia transfer. I presume the Single disc edition by Contender is a new Transfer by Fortune Star?

I noticed the single disc in HMV last week - I believe it sported the Fortune Star logo. However, it's probably still the Media Asia print as seen on the platinum edition.
