I just picked up Rome Season 1 about the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Did anyone get a chance to see this on HBO

Pressure, Great Show, I loved it! its to bad that it only lasted for 2 season I guess because of the cost of the sets and stuff it was to expensive to continue but it pretty much finished the main parts of the story. Titus Pullo was the best what till you see the Gladiator fight awesome. I want to pick this series up also but I'll wait till it comes down in price.

Yep, watched both seasons over here. Great stuff, same league as Deadwood, of which they still have to show the 3rd season!

jirpy100, I believe that they cancelled Deadwood, due to the budget, HBO REALLY SUCKS LATELY! When they get a great show it only last for the most 2 seasons.
