Great film! I did see the hook coming about halfway through the film but oh how nice it was see that ending!

It is sad to see many critics compare it to a QT film, I can understand why but I think this film has a lot more going on than any QT film.

I liked the Matthew Fox (Lost) cameo and a few of the others I noticed. I am starting to like Ryan Reynolds a lot, I think he is a very versatile actor. He proves he can do drama in this film almost as well as he does comedy!

Now I don't know what to think.
Been hearing a LOT of really, really bad reviews on this one.
Maybe I'll wait for it to show up at the dollar theater - probably in about a week.

I think it's getting bad reviews because they are comparing it to a QT film. If you cruise over to CHUD.com and read the interview with the writer/director you will see he was influenced by pre-QT movies, and he's a total movie geek. He even understands that the critics will compare it to a QT film.

Which QT film are they trying to say it's similar to, Pulp Fiction? I saw the film advertized on tv and it looks like they purposely scratched up the film to make it look old and gritty I guess. How is Alicia Keys in this? she looked pretty hot and I think this is her first film.

i would agree!!! it was pretty dope! quite a spectacle, those "Tremor Bros." were!!! the big one got his, in the END!!!!LOL!! (pun intended!) i also noticed that the killer, who had chewed off his fingertips(Nester Carbonell), was also on the latest episode of "Lost", & was wearing some dark 'eye liner'. probably, to give him that "creepy" vibe! hahahaha!
