Just about to watch Take Care...and noticed a couple of interesting things at the HKMDB...
1. Several cast members (ie. Wong Yue) are credited as "(from FACETS OF LOVE)"
Is there footage recycled from that movie? Facets was made in 1973 so Wong Yue should look about 10 years younger... except...
2. Take Care is noted as having been "filmed between 1976/1978".
Where does this info come from? Old Cinemart mags? Was the film completed years before it's 1983 release?
If anyone has any info on this curio I'd be interested to hear it.

Just figured out that most of TAKE CARE... was lifted from 1976's WEDDING NIGHTS.
If anyone cares....

If anyone cares....Interesting. So by 1983, SB was recycling footage to put out 'new' films? I hadn't realized they were that far gone at that point.
Cheers for watching a film like that this month. I should see what I have left and watch something this weekend in between Mandarin class and Dabangg.

Li Han-Hsiang left Shaws in 1983 so Take Care may have been contract filler... or perhaps Shaws making one last buck on his name? I don't know. But VERY little of TAKE CARE... is original material. The more explicit nudity doesn't date from the earlier films. I don't think WEDDING NIGHTS ever came out on DVD or VCD so this is probably the only way you'll get to see (most of) it!
P.S. Nice poster collection Rogue. You have every Shaw film I mention!
