The general consensious seems to be people either hate or love Tony Scott. I love Scott and he is in my top 5 for directors.

I just saw his new movie Domino and I thought it was great. Anyone else?

I also loved Man on Fire and of course the best out of all of them True Romance.

I even liked Spy Game. Anyone else?

Also, anyone ever notice that his end action scenes seem to be inspired by the end of Better Tomorrow 2?

Domino reminded me of it, and True Romance for sure, ABT2 was even on the TV when Clarence and that bitch whore girlfriend of his were watching tv.

Your a cantolope.

I thought True Romance was great, Man On Fire was Very good, and Spy Game was OK. Now, I also just watched Domino a few weekends back..... and I thought it sucked. Bad film in every aspect possible to me. Acting and Especially directing. Felt like a bad music video.

I'm tempted to see Domino just to see the smoking hot Kierra Knightly.:p

Well, I was thinking the same thing. But she not very hot in this one. She looks more like an 10 year old boy than normal. Somebody get that biotch a samwhich!! :lol

I absolutely love Crimson Tide. Love Man on Fire. Spy Game doesn't do it for me. Enemy of the State was alright. The Fan was crap. True Romance was ok to me. Slater ruins most things for me.
I didn't like Domino in the slightest. It didn't need to be made. It was a waste. KK spent the whole movie smoking, literally. Scott went waaay the f overboard with all of the visual crap. I was looking forward to this after seeing MoF. I was mega disappointed after seeing it. Like I was when I saw The Fan.

people either love it or hate it. i thought man on fire had way more visual stuff than domino.

alot of critics hate his stuff because of his visuals, i love the visuals, wish more directors did it.

same deal with snatch by guy ritchie, thought it was great.

i dont like slater either but for me he was fine in true romance.

i thought i was going to dislike domino but it worked for me.

he has a movie coming out with denzel washington and a couple other a list actors, however its about time travel, not sure about that one.

i loved True Romance....it contains my all time favourite Tarantino moment...the scene with Christopher Walken and Slater's Dad...hilarious!!! next to Pulp Fiction, i think this was Tarantino's best script. Tony Scott did a great job handling the direction.

I will contend that the scene with Walken and Hopper in True Romance is the greatest scene in the history of cinema, followed or tied with the diner scene between Bobby D and Pacino in Heat.

It's been ages since I seen True Romance but I liked it alot, I liked the fact that Slater's charcter was a fan of kung fu movies and he meets his girlfriend at the movies showing Sonny Chiba's The Streetfighter. Gary Oldman's wannabe black character sure was freaky.

um domino was beyond garbage so much worthless style with no heart, emotion, interest or any sort of substance at all....terrible terrible film. Beyond suck and with a good cast/director its amazing how bad this film was.

Man on Fire was so much better. The stylized look and direction looks tamed compared to Domino.

True Romance was OK to me, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the classic two dialogue driven scenes (Gandolfini/Griffith and Walken/Hopper) are the only reason why so many people love this movie...I think it is highly overrated in my opinion.

Crimson Tide, Spy Game, and The Fan were all good movies to me. Great characters in unique and interesting dilemmas.

The Last Boy Scout is one of the best action films of the 90's. And Shane Black's script is superb!

Tony Scott shots glorified music videos for sure...give s me epilpetic seizures damn it. Spy Game was cool but thats about it...remember Beverly Hills Cop 2? he did that one and it was weak compared to the first. he tries to be too cool. man on fire was good in my opinion expect for the directing which was like a thorn in my eye. the acting was good, good story, actors....
