I have a large collection of IVLs and Region 1 shaw brothers dvds. I do not want to support a bootleg company like panmedia so I was wondering if anyone had any of the english dubs of venom movies that are not available by american distributors that they would want to trade copies of any other shaw brothers movies. I am willing to do a 3 for one trade even just because I really want them and do not want to spend $7 on each english dub from ebay and support a rip off company like panmedia. I am also interested in any of Chang Cheh's shaolin series english dubs or any Chang Cheh english dubbed ones period.

The ones I'm interested in mainly are ones like:
Rebel Intruders i.e Killer Army
Magnificent Ruffians aka Destroyers of the 5 deadly venoms
The Daredevils
Legend of the Fox, Marco Polo etc.

Really any with english dubs I'd be willing to trade just because I've started to grow found of hearing the dubbed version and just don't want to support that rip off company unless I have to

I also have 3 unopened dragon dynasty dvds (One armed swordsman, king boxer, and heroes of the east) I'd be willing to trade for the region 1 release of Invincible Shaolin w/english dub or that region 4 release or whatever region it was that had the english dub with it (believe it was australia) and I already own Life Gamble region 1 but don't have the rerelease with the english dub (the one that was released at the same time as opium and the kung fu master) so would be interested in that one as well.

Please PM me if interested in trading and if it's a celestial kung fu or action I most likely have to for sure. Plus would like to trade/complete my collection of OOP celestials like The criminals series etc that I never got around do buying in the past.

Also any unreleased shaws even if the quality is just so so, like thunderclap or the one I'm most interested in: To Kill A Mastermind.

I have had successful trades in the past I should be somewhere on the list of traders on here that did not scam.
Thank you in advance :)

OK i guess no one wants to trade or anything? I have not got a single PM about this. I guess I'm sorry to bother everyone I will do the unspeakable and have to buy these for like $7 each from ebay for the panmedia english dubbed versions since no english distributor is releasing them as far as I know.

I didn't want to support the devil but I want the dubs and I figured some people might have IVLs I don't have and I might have some you don't have so we could trade these OOP dvds.

Just a thought, but perhaps if you allowed a little more time for a response, there might be someone who can hook you up. You have to realize that not everyone frequents the forum each and every day, so a response after only two days is unlikely. I only have these dubs on tape so unfortunately I can't help you out but, while it may take a week or even a month, I'm sure someone will get back to you. Thanks....

Hi Mr P. I have Killer Army, Shaolin Martial Arts, Dirty Ho, Boxer From The Temple and Disciples of Death aka Men From The Monastery. All are English dubbed.
See, leave it a few days & somebody will get back to you.

I've sent you a PM a few days ago. Got no reply. I have most of the unreleased Shaw titles and many Celestial English dubbed. If you have a trade list, you have my email.

Yeah sorry to lose patience. You would figure all the kung fu movies teaching patience would have made me gain some. I appreciate your responses and I am trying to find the saved file I have of my collection, its mostly about 300 shaws, about 4 dozen others such as ones netflix rents out like the ocean shores ones, and hundreds (maybe a thousand) american movies (especially ones with seagal, van damme, arnold, clint eastwood etc I have pretty much all of their films).

I had found a program where you put in the upc and it adds it to your collection but I had to reformat so it's a matter of finding that saved file where I had several hundred saved and then updating that one. If it's lost then i'm going to have to start over and that'll probably have to be in december when this college semester is over (since anyone who has ever made a movie list knows, it takes FOREVER).

Once again thanks and I am sorry to show lack of patience to my fellow board members. I had just started watching the venom series again and was trying to hold off on the ones without the english dubs since it's like a different experience watching the dubbed versions (most I had never seen, except in their mandarin version which takes away some of the comedy/goofiness people expect when they think of kung fu movies). But I have to admit, the shaw brothers films dubbers were pretty good, not a whole lot of out of sync mouth motions like I tend to remember dubbed kung fu movies having.
