GOLGO 13 - 50 Episode TV Series

Anyone here ever seen any of this recent anime TV series?

I think the first 26 episodes or so are now out on 2 DVD sets.

Any advice?

It's very good, classic Golgo. Each episode is pretty much self-contained.

I'm a huge fan of all things Golgo 13. I own both volumes of the 2008 TV series. It's a bit pricey but as a Golgo 13 fan, it was well worth it. If you are tired of the same old anime that's been popular these last few years, it's a refreshing change. Also, if you are new to Golgo 13 or perhaps wish to learn a little more about him, I recommend the 13 volume manga series translated in English by Viz Media. It goes into depth about his character and explains in great detail about his history in the comics and film...

It is on sale at Deep DIscount this week. Just watched the first episode and I'd say it is the most faithful visual adaptation of the manga I've seen. Haven't seen the Takakura Ken movie, though.
