[Chinatown Kid]

Anybody seen this slasher film starring Tom Berenger and Billy Dee Williams? It's about a martial arts psycho who is stalking and murdering strippers in New York City. Berenger plays an ex-boxer and has to fight the psycho at the end. I thought the story was kind of interesting but the end fight could have been better choreagraphed. The director of this film also directed THE DRILLER KILLER.

Enjoyable 80s striptease exploitation with pre-Don Johnson/Antonio Banderas Melanie Griffith reprising her 'Body Double' baring. Oh yes, there is the slasher flick element. One of Abel Ferrara's more 'mainstream' and non-self indulgent efforts as he probably filmed it with showing it in a 42nd street grindhouse as 1/3 of a triple feature in mind.
