The BBFC have just passed this again for DVD. However it sounds like it's the UNCUT version this time. The previous DVD was the PG-13 version with "some" UK cuts waived. This submission lasts 20 seconds longer and "ALL" previous cuts have been waived. I heard MGM were going to do this to make it up to the fans. Looks like they were good on their word. Now uncut prints of the rest please........ :D

Ah Timothy Dalton's "Licence To Kill", which of course if urban legend stands true had its original title "Licence Revoked" chanegd at the last minute as they thought majority of audiences wouldn't know what it meant...

I think it was quite heavily cut for violence at the time of release, David Hedison's encoutner with the shrk, Anthony Zerbe's decompression chamber demise, and that of the young Benecio Del Toro on the conveyor belt....I think there may also have been some cuts to the "Ninja" scene which featured Stuart Quan and a former Playboy playmate...always thought Dalton did a good job, but still have to say its Connery 1st then Lazenby then Brosnan than Roger Moore than the "Casino Royale" Jimmy Bond's Woody Allen, Peter Sellars, David Niven etc

The Ninja scene was never cut, but you're right about the other bits. The uncut version WILL be out in the UK as it's been passed by the BBFC - but who knows when??
