That's a TV series? Hmmmm...........I'd watch that, I think. Didn't really see much MA in it but looks to have some action. Some of the effects weren't the best but some looked spot on. I liked the "Planet of the Apes" look the Monkey King has.

Ah, the Zhang Jizhong series.
I think I'm still going to like the 1986 version best, but, man, I *am* looking forward to this one.
If nothing else, it's probably going to look and sound good (nevermind the occasional bad CGI). And it's going to feature a lot of hot babes and hot hunks, among them some of my faves...:-)
Can't help it, there's something about ZJZ's flamboyant kitsch-fests that I totally adore.
