Has anyone else seen Toshiharu Ikeda’s Shadow of the Wraith yet? His has directed such classics like Evil Dead Trap and Angel Guts: Red Porno. Overall Shadow of the Wraith impressed with its visual look and style which I found to be reminiscent of classic Italian horror. I never really liked this current wave of Japanese horror films and I think what sets Shadow of the Wraith apart from the rest of the pact is that it doesn’t try to lull you into a half comatose state before it goes in for the kill.
