Just got through watching the Arrow Blu ray releases of Phenomena and The Beyond and if your a fan then you wont regret purchasing them. They are All Region like most arrow releases so will play on any BD player or PS3.
Phenomena is the best of the two, some great Argento moments, not his best but still worth it if your a fan of the director, looks great too, fantastic picture and it is the longer cut of the film.
The Beyond is a lucio Fulci film so i dont need to say much more, full of gore and excessive images, im not a fan of the film but again its a great Blu ray with an atmospheric 5.1 sound mix.You can read my full review on my blog here... THE BEYOND REVIEW. (http://regionfreebluray.blogspot.com/2011/03/beyond-blu-ray-review.html)
Both have a load of extras and are also on dvd for those without HD. . they are now available on Amazon here.

blah! A longer cut of Phenomena? So this blu ray is the most complete version available now?

I love the Beyond but there is something not right about seeing this with a 5.1 mix.

Here are some previous DVD versions in comparison (http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film2/DVDReviews37/phenomena.htm) to the Bluray of Phenomena. At the time Jennifer Connelly was cast
as Jennifer Corvino in this movie she was only 13 yrs old, yet she carried herself in a manner so well her performance is timeless.
This was the first film i saw made by D. Argento, a fascinating ride both noxious, and quixotic. But alas, his films generally are
more like the pornography of death in the sense that he became sensationalistic about the beauty of death. There really are few
directors and writers who were like him, directors that seem to hold as equal a regard for beauty as death, but Dario Argento's
understanding of beauty is death which alludes to why the subject matter in his films are strafingly dissident. He comes off more
like a sadomasochist with a paintbrush. Previous DVD versions vs Bluray comparisons with screenshots in the link above...

The Beyond does have a mono mix on the Blu ray too.
The 5.1 is pretty good, better than some i have heard.
