I wish I could help, because I'm hoping for that one, too. Brentwood had it listed on their most recent 10-movie horror set, but when it actually came out, they'd substituted something else for it. This usually means that they'd intended to put it out but found out someone else had already bought the rights to it. My guess is Synapse, since they put out Lieberman's Blue Sunshine, or possibly MGM, since they're going to put out his Squirm in August. So hopefully somebody's planning to release it... signs are good, but I haven't heard any actual news.

The best site I've seen for Brentwood stuff is run by a guy who posts around here sometimes... it's at http://www.hitchmagazine.com/brentwood.html Needs updating more often, maybe, but I'm glad it's there in the first place. :)
What I usually do is look the box sets up on DVD Planet and hit the little thing that says "enlarge back graphic" - that gives you a look at what's on the disc. The only bad part is, that occasionally steers me wrong. Their graphic *still* shows Just Before Dawn being on the set, but it was replaced by "Memorial Valley Massacre." Which might be okay, I haven't watched it yet, though... The worst case of Brentwood changing their line-up is the "Pray For Death" four-movie set, which promises some hard-to-get things like "Mark of the Devil Part 2" (which they were unable to get because supposedly somebody else plans to put 'em out, which I hope they do). DVD Planet *really* needs to change the graphic on that one, because the only movie actually in the set is Night of the Death Cult. The rest is stuff the market's already over-saturated with, like Satanic Rites of Dracula, Werewolf Vs. The Vampire Woman, and Sisters of Death. So, use the back-graphics to give you an idea, but don't trust them overmuch. I'm not sure where a reliable source for pre-release info is...

I may or may not still have the movie JUST BEFORE DAWN, if not I may be able to get a copy (bootleg) for you no guarantees though; two other rare slashers that I DO have on VHS are TERROR TRAIN and THE UNSEEN. Just in case you haven't seen these TT stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Johnson, David Copperfield(!) and Vanity. It's also directed by the guy who did TOMORROW NEVER DIES. THE UNSEEN stars Barbara Bach and Stephen Furst from ANIMAL HOUSE.

I was talking 'bout DVDs with a friend of mine in e-mail, and he happened to mention the following:
"Also, speaking
of Synapse, I don't know if you know it or not, but
they'll be releasing THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN this
fall, along with JUST BEFORE DAWN in the Spring. "
So, figured I'd pass along the good news... there are plans for it to come out. The bad part is, I think I'm gonna have to get a second job to keep up with buying all this stuff, and then maybe add on to the house to have somewhere to keep it all... :)

The copy I have of THE UNSEEN was purchased at a video store that was going out of business. A portion of the main credits is missing. Apparently, someones VCR ate the tape and they cut the crimped portion and put the tape back on the spool. I bought it mainly for the rarity of the movie. The same vid store is where I rented and copied JUST BEFORE DAWN. That one wasn't for sale at the time so I only got a dupe of it. Not sure if I have that anymore but I have seen it at other video stores in my area. There is nothing I can think of to trade, if you still want the tape even though it's missing a bit of the credits I'll sell it for the cost to ship it or if you don't want to take a chance on your VCR eating the tape I can make a dupe for you. It's up to you.
