can anyone recommend the best version of night of the living dead on disc? my guess would be the anchor bay version, am i right?

I almost bought the Anchor Bay one once, but I heard that it has "new footage" stuck into it... which is blasphemy. I did see that version with the extra footage on Cinemax one night, and it was horrible... junk that they shot in 1998 for the 30th anniversary of the movie. So, I'd be wary of that... unless maybe if the disc also has a version of the original.

From what I've heard, the Elite DVD is the one to go with. I haven't bought it to see for sure, though... I found a Goodtimes DVD for $5 and the picture on that was so impressive I've just stuck with it.
