Does anyone know if there is a decent print of
Kirk Wong's "The Club" on LD/VCD/DVD....???
Chan Wai Man & Tsui Siu Keung are fantastic in
"The Club" Kirk Wong directs this Triad Gerne
with style and grit beyond the Generic Hong Kong ganster movies of the 70's and above the very romtatic veiw of John Woo's ganster movies. For Kirk Wong's first movie it is nothing less that superb......
Basically my "Eastern Hereos" PAL VHS tape is getting worse each time I watch it , the sound track has started to play up and the vishals go from muddy , blurry , and to dark for night scenes & washed out for day time scenes , part of the problem is the print its self ( it was never that good ) and being on VHS deteration is to be exepect ( 2nd or 3rd hand tape to my knowlage , probley more ) and my good VCR is having trouble with it , so I am after a "NEW" print.....
The finale in the night club is virtually un-watchable because of the degradation.........
Thank you.
