a couple of my fave horror directors are Dan O'bannon, David Cronenberg Stuart Gordon and Brian Yuzna.. and the make up artists are Rob Bottin, Robert Kurtzman Screaming Mad George and Bob Keen

hmmm favorite director my # 1 has to be Ryuhei Kitamura, # 2 Takashi Miike as for fx artists that has to be Yuuichi Matsui the man behind the scenes of such films as Ichi the killer, Inugami, Audition, Ring 2, Full Metal Yakuza, Cure, Naked Blood and many more!

Steven Spielberg is surely one of the best action/adventure, sci-fi fantasy director.

i like tom savini's work, which in some flix (eg. the prowler) is really the only reason to watch. my personal fave of his-day of the dead.
