I dig this show. Manages to get out of LAW & ORDER/CSI format. Jennifer Beals is good as the police superintendent and Delroy Lindo is good as the crooked alderman. I put this show and DETROIT 187 in my top cop shows.

Agree 100%. Chicago Code grabbed me from the first episode; Detroit 187 took a while, both became my look-forward to series. Delroy Lindo makes the show for me. He plays a complex, corrupt character who under-pedals his power, but then strikes like lightning. Great shows!

And sadly CHICAGO has been cancelled because FOX is an idiotic network that wants to focus on AMERICAN IDOL v 5.0. 187 is on life support, but doesn't look good. Network television truly sucks.

Sad news indeed. I was really hoping for a 2nd season. :cry:

That show was great. I don't get why it got canned! :tinysmile_angry2_t: I also enjoyed Detroit 187 but it also took me a while to really get into it. Hopefully they won't be replaced by more boring reality shows...............
