i dunno how often they do this or if it was like a 1 week think, but they absolutely killed it. they showed shaolin soccer, kung fu hustle, hofd, hero, twin dragons, buncha bruce lee flicks, iron monkey, and a handful of other kung fu flicks. it was very refreshing to see this stuff on cable tv. anyone else get to catch these?

I have to agree that they "killed it," alright--killed it dead.:x They just re-ran movies they'd shown previously, especially from the former "Films of Fury" show! 'Way to go Spike!>:

When it was first announced, I was so enthused by the potential of what could have been unleashed (no pun/reference intended). Why couldn't they have aired more classics (Shaws, GH, Ng See Yuen, Lee Tso Nam, Sammo) and '90s releases (Moon Lee, Michelle, more Donnie, Jaa)?! I found their selection to be disappointing.:(

The only pics that I hadn't seen were SAMOURAIS and CHINA STRIKE FORCE. I watched the latter, and will never look at Coolio with a straight face, again. He ought to be ashamed!

easier said than done. most likely a rights issue as far as shaws. and im sure they didnt want to show anything too underground. i wish they did, but completely understand y they didnt.

Love to see these films on tv, just absolutely dread the English dubs on the modern films.

Here in Panama, in the latin america FX channel they have Shaw Brothers movies every Friday and on MGM latin america they also have Shaw's every Wednesday. That started like 2 months ago. Great to be able to see 2 kung fu movies a week lol Some of the titles I've seen on TV:
Return to the 36th chamber, The Boxer from Shangtung, Blood Brothers, Heroes two, My Young Auntie, Two Champions of Shaolin, The Shadow Boxer, the Bastard Swordsman, Disciples of the 36th Chamber, Martial arts from Shaolin, Legend of the Bat,
