View Full Version : What's in your "to be watched" pile?
You know, that pile of disks sitting somewhere near the player collecting dust sometimes when you get busy...
Clans of Intrigue (watching this one after I type this;) )
Heaven and Hell
Tengu Priest
Devil's Mirror
Come Drink with Me (rewatch, never seen the remaster)
Raw Courage
Big Bad Sis
Trail of Blood
Ambitious Kung Fu Girl (keeps getting pushed back)
Empress Dowager (keeps getting pushed back)
I'm equal opportunity on Samurai and Kung Fu, but I've been on the Shaw kick lately.

What, what!! What's this!! You have Devil's Mirror, but haven't watched it!! It's one of the greatest!!!! Do it!! Do it now!!! No other flick is as forward thinking for its time! Sets painted with blood! Camp fun by the bucketload!! Sun Chung the genius showing how it's done without compare!! This movie is too class! First time I watched it, I was like "this film's class..." 2nd like "holy sh't this film's class!" Showed it to a mate and it slayed us, leaving us both like "Oooh sh't, whaaaa!!! Holy sh't, this film's class!!!"...
No other Shaw set-piece has made me actually shiver with excitement like the build up to and execution of that initial pagoda raid first time I saw it! Just too good...
Although, don't let me hype it up too much, just my take on it, some don't feel so strongly... but anyhoo... every minute unwatched is a minute you could have known the joys of Devil's Mirror (I still think it's Sun Chung's finest)... do it now!!!!!
Anyway, on topic:
New Clans Of Intrigue
Cantonen Iron Kung Fu
Fight Amongst The Supers
When Taekwando Strikes
The Snake Prince
Taoism Drunkard
Sentimental Swordsman
Ghost Killer (Chen Kuan Tai)
A few others I can't think of...

About 100 DVDs judging by the size of the pile, the direct proportion of kung fu to action films is about 2:1.

:rollin It has just been moved up to next in line, I couldn't find much info on it, I remember a thread in the shaw section, but couldn't find it, sounds like my kind of flick.
I guesss I need to get around to watching Ambitious KF Girl to, might have to pull a double feature one night.
