lol. Must be someone from Kungfufandom, or a time traveler.
I'd like to claim I did it, but I don't live in the U.K.
Every once in a while you hear about someone like this. Always funny.

haha, reminds me of that stand off here in America a while ago. Does anyone remember that?
There was this black guy dressed all in black, and he had a Katana. The entire police force of some city was circling around him, they shot him with rubber bullets... tear gas... but it wasnt untill they got the fire hose on him that he pulled out his sword in true samurai fashion.
He then went through a series of... mock fights with his sword then he attempted seppuku but they squirted the sword away, tackled him, and beat him up for a good 3 minutes...
I think it was on World Most Amazing Police Videos

It just dawned on me how professionally they handled that situation. I'm tired about hearing about people shot 50 times because they had a knife or sword etc. Hats off to the Seattle cops who handled this situation. Would it have been handled differently if the media was not here?

Peringaten lives in England, mabe he's the Samurai/Ninja in disguiseWoah... woah there.... Shhhhh! I'm trying to be all elusive and secretive about it and whatnot...
Anyhoo, I got that sword from QVC, so it's all legitimate and above board and stuff. Did more damage to the blade than that fella's arm...
I had to hotfoot it. Oh, the shame of my home-shopping channel bought ninja paraphanelia...
I even wore a badass Richard Harrison/IFD inspired headband, made from the belt of a lovely QVC-bought waffle wrap bathrobe with terry trim, that I got my Gran to handstitch the word NINJA in...

The irony of this incident is that the very weapon that possibly saved the police officers lives is outlawed and considered a very lethal weapon. The UK authorities usually give one week amnesty periodically for people to surrender illegal weapons to the police ( boy!you have to see images of the amount and type of weapons handed over ).Had Mr " hero " already handed in his weapon before this attack the consequences could have been dire for the victims and their loved ones but if the hero now decides to turn himself in would he be granted amnesty for his noble deed or criminalized? Mind you if a victim injures a wrong-doer in "self defence",9 times out of ten in the UK,the victim can be victimized.
