I used the search button but didnt find anything likewise, so I just thought I'd start one...
Anyway, I bet many of us here are also avid gamers.
I'm keeping with Ninja Gaiden Black at the moment, and since this board is full of martial arts enthusiasts, I'm guessing I'm not the only one here who is enjoying this experience a whole lot!?
It's such an awesome awesome game. All the fights are just so much fun to play, the moves are great, controls are very very good and responsive, and it's very challenging.
I'm only in level 7 so far.
Anyone who hasnt played this yet and does have an Xbox, should definately give it a try!
Also been busy with some other games, and since many many Xbox games are very cheap nowadays (at least they are here in Holland), hardly a week goes by without me buying 1 or 2 new ones...
Anyway, let's use this thread from now on to discuss our gaming-related stuff ;)
(Or, if there already is such a thread, close this one)

I love ninja gaiden, I still need to buy black so I can play those 50 or so missions and the master ninja difficulty has me wanting to get it to.
I like Half Life mods like TO and PVK, and TS. Those take some real skill to play, and are not as popular as other mods but well worth looking into. Here are some links.

PVK has nothing to do with Asian cinima but its one of my personal favorites. Oh and I can not forget QUAKE 1 I love that game and still play it till this day.

In fact yesterday was its 10th birthday lol.
I used to play alot of games but I have really cut down, I been working out and reading more lately and working. Its my last summer in Highschool so might as well use it wisely. :rolleyes

The game is hard. I have it also. If I was retired, I be playing it. 8)
The game is time consuming, and I don't really have the time.

Greatest, Most Slept On Video Game of All Time = Jet Set Radio (Dreamcast) and Jet Set Radio Future (XBox).
runner up: Shenmue 1 and 2 for Dreamcast and XBox
really brings tears to my eyes when ppl bypass these hidden gems..

Agreed Chen, only I'd put Shenmue 1 and 2 and a few other games above Jet Set Radio. Jet Set Radio still rocks tho, and is certainly one of the most criminally overlooked games around. Haven't played the sequel.

I bought Dead or Alive Ultimate for my Xbox today, but seems like there's somethingw rong with the disc as the loading times, especially on the character select screen, are awfull. Furthermore the voices and the animations dont match up, so you can see the character talk his BS before the match, and the audio comes a bit later in the animation...
I'll take the game back on monday, but I'm affraid that it's the last copy they had...
I did manage to play a bit, and apart from the loading and audio etc, the gameplay is still good it seems...
Bummer.

Nice to see some love for Jet Grind and Shenmue!
Ninja Gaiden is awesome. I beat it pretty much completely. Haven't started Black yet though.
I'm currently playing some X360 games like Dead or Alive, Perfect Dark, Farcry and Project Gotham. And i'm at the end of Final Fantasy X.

I brought back my DOA Ultimate disc as it was just slow as hell. I got my money back as they didnt have a replacement copy, but I'll try and see if I can find it in another store cause I did like the game. I already have DOA3 and its eems very simular, but the levels are cooler and they have lots of costumes to unlock.
I wish DOA4 had all those costumes. Dont have that one yet either.
Been playing Ninja Gaiden Black alot lately. I've just entered the water in level 11. I hate swimming. But it's still a great great game. Did alot of farming in level 10, so I have maxed potions and lifes and all that.

I hardly ever play games anymore. But I did sit down and play my sons "Path Of Neo" the other day and had a blast. The training missions were damn cool. The underground kung fu training taken from Enter The Dragon. The more advanced kung fu training in the teahouse taken form Drunken Master 2. And the sword skills training was cool, especially the black & white level!!

Path of Neo was okish, slighty rubbish though.
Still playing Devil May Cry 3, bloody love that game.
Unfortunately I don't own a xbox so haven't had the privelage of playing ninja gaiden, sounds really good though.
Can't wait to play Heavenly Sword on PS3, from the same developer as Gaiden I believe.

I still buy games for my DC too!
Back in the arcade days, games like Double Dragon were big favourites here. I remember getting all bruised from using the rubber buttons on Street Fighter (the harder you hit them the stronger the hits from your game character). I had a Spectrum at home and loved games like Renegade and Shaolin Road!

Finished Ninja Gaiden Black tonight. Those ghost-fish were pretty annoying. Not all that hard, but just plain annoying.
Glad I'm finished it. It's a great game. Now I unlocked Mission Mode and Hard (story) Mode, but not sure if I'll try those yet.
Also unlocked a buttugly costume.

Alright i broke down yesterday and followed suit w/ friends and my bro and i bought this console & game. I have the old xbox but never was feeling 1st person shooters like Halo (motion sickness i guess) so I have always been partial to Sony and my PS2 and was going to purchase a PS3 but i really think they dropped the ball with their launch.
Anyway believe the hype this game alone is definitely next gen and a reason to spend $400+!!! It's like Contra for the millenium!!!
The real thing that blew me away was the system's functionality and connectivity...it allows you to download media (tv shows, classic games, music) and share contents online via xbox live. I know i'm a year behind but this chit is amazing!!!

I want to get a Wii, they look like alot of fun.
I broke down a Nintendo DS last night and Shogun Empires. The stylus adds a whole new dimension to games! My favorite was aiming my ballistas during the castle seige or boat battles using my stylus to aim and approximate the distance and arc of the arrows, the horse riding mini game is ok, the ninja assasination sword fight mini game was cool but I'm not good at that one just yet. I can't wait to explore more games for the DS.
It's funny I was thinking last night how I came "full circle". The first console I ever spent my own money on was the original Nintendo with the robot, I also got a Sega Genesis later on, then Playstation 1 & 2, and finally a modded Xbox. I went from platformers to FPS and RPGs which excellent graphics, (I'm not counting PC games here). Then grew bored because they weren't fun anymore. After playing my fiancee's GBA and Super Mario Bros 3 I remembered how much fun the games on my original Nintendo system were and how much fun the Wii looks. I grabbed my DS primarily because my PSP lost it's luster and the games just aren't that much fun, and they are expensive.

if u buy a wii, it comes with a game (wii sports)...its soooo much fun....granted u realize its more of a tech demo of the remote's capabilities, but u can see how much potential that element has. u actually swing the remote like a golf club for golf games!

This is the third time I have had to send it off in a year, this is the only system i've ever had do this. I still have the Dreamcast that I purchased on release day and it's still playing games like I bought it yesterday.
Was about to purchase Ninja Gaiden II, glad I didn't.
