I know of the most popular example, Bruce Lee, but it seems there were other Martial Arts actors of mixed European decent, like Alexander Fu Sheng (who I just found out about). This brings up the question, which other martial arts actors were Eurasian? Were they discriminated against or was it easier for them to get connections because many generally came from richer families? The latter part is my own speculation but I wouldn't be surprised if it were the case.

well just by looking at them i would say:

Chuen yuen- that guy from thunderbolt fist with shih szu
Mark Long- ghostface killer and other joseph kuo productions
Frankie wei (possibly)
lau wing(tony liu) possibly
Ling yun

These aren't martial arts actors, but have been in martial arts films:
Nora Miao
Angela Yu Chien
Nancy Yen(yen nan hsi)

hopefully someone can come up with others or confirmation of these. Very interesting question though.

Well, as long as were opening up the discussion, Karen Mok and Michelle Reis are Eurasian too. Half-Welsh, half-portuguese, respectively.

The Wong Brothers (Michael, Russell, Declan) all Eurasian.

It looks like there are more Eurasian actors involved in HK Cinema then whats proportionate to their population in the area. And to speculate some more with with you guys, I think Kwan Feng is Eurasian, and perhaps Ti Lung too.

From what I undestand Sammo's wife Joyce Godenzi is Eurasian, and that woman that played Chen Sing's wife in The Rage of Wind(Irene Ryder) was too.

From what I know about Bruce. His dad is 100% Chinese, and his mom is half chinese/half german. So Bruce Lee is a little german, but more chinese.

Pai Ying's mother was from Kazakhstan. Interesting... for some reason (really don't know why) I kind of assumed he had some sort of Japanese ancestry... cheers Le Peril Jaune.

Anyone know the name of that really Eurasian-looking woman from the beginning of Battle Wizard...? I'm guessing she's got to have some western roots...

Pai Ying's mother was from Kazakhstan.

Correction: She may not have been FROM Kazakhstan as the second largest population of Kazakhs is in China, the article/translation isn't quite clear on this but it clearly states that he is of mixed blood.

really? are you sure????????? my uncle kind of looks like Meng Fei, and he is 100% asian. Not to mention Sammo Hung looks like my dad especially from scenes in Dragons Forever, and my cousin who people keep saying that he looks like Jackie Chan. I think he has Jackie's nose lol... seriously, but he does not look exactly like Chan. He's not very athletic or fit, but when he smiles.... :eek I feel like I'm looking at Jackie.
