The easiest viruses can be gotten rid of by clearing your temp folders and cookies.

Beyond that it depends on the actual virus.

To stay on top of getting rid of temp folders/files and cookies, get an internet history eraser. Great stuff. Most are also file shredders.

I still don't get it.

For virus protection I use AV Guard.

If you get yourself 'a cleaner' and spyware remover that should be all you need.

The ability to "give" viruses isn't required.

To give them just send the "virus" file from the e-mail, sit and watch unprotected pc's go haywire.
