So I am skimming through Sword of Justice and I happened to stumble across a scene. All I got to say is.... I know of beating it, but not literally beating it. Ouch :eek

Were you watching the recently released R1 versions?? If so, how did you like the background animation for the main menu (:o )!! I didnt care for the Hanzo series myself. I bought the box set, watched all three flix, and sold them here on the forum a week later.

Yeah this wasn't your everyday Samurai Flicks, I did like some of the storylines and it did have some good Action scenes but as far the soft porn type, I couldv'e done with out it.

I agree, these are weird films. But I saw them at a film festival about 15 years ago and bought the box set. It was only about $22 and will probably watch these flicks a few more times in my life so is worth it.

While these films don't really fall under the samurai flick category, they are enjoyable as exploitive sex comedies. That's the way one needs to watch these flicks, not expecting Zatoichi or Lone Wolf & Cub fight scenes peppered throughout, although there are some pretty good fight scenes.
