When did Mike B become a star?! Although imdb has Deadend listed as completed, I never heard anything about this film being released

Hasn't this movie been out in ages now?? I thought that it turned out to be a made-for-TV movie, which was released quite a while ago on a thai VCD. Reading these posts makes me a bit unsure though

I have that Deadend on sale in Ethaicd. It's an old HK TVB telemovie, from 80's. Nothing to do with the thai flick.
