If the upcoming "Kill Zone" DVD will have deleted scenes of "Sha Po Lang", then the DVD seems like a director's cut that some people may have been wondering about, in a way.
And do you wish that you could somehow see "SPL/Kill Zone" in a theatre here in the U.S.? Maybe a limited release/more film festival showings would be good enough do you think, or did somebody say that it probably wouldn't do that well at the box office here especially with a wide release?

there's no deleted scenes, but behind-the-scenes footage of the two last fights instead, with additional audio commentary by Bey and Donnie.
has the R1 dvd been released already?

Running Man,
The price tag asde, do you recommend the US or Deltamac edition? I have read the Deltamac release has good, but not perfect subtitles.

If price isn't an issue then I'd say go for the US disc.
The English subs seem to be the same as the HK disc except that they are timed a bit better since I remember like once or twice the subs going by real fast on the HK disc.

So the US release doesn´t show the bar Donnie fight with the triple kick we could see on photo?

You see them filming it, but it's not available as a deleted scene.

I was talking about the upcoming U.S. DVD called "Kill Zone(aka "SPL")" based on the information on the Dragon Dynasty website. I was not talking about the Hong Kong import DVD. So how could you already have the U.S. DVD if it doesn't come out until 9/12/06?

And I was talking about the same US DVD release which I have had since the middle of last week. How I got it? It is possible to get DVDs way before their release dates.

does the whole thing(film, commentary, making of, etc) have this strange echo sound throughout? I got it for $7 today, couldn't pass that up, and the whole thing sounds awful! It sounds like the audio for the disc was remix in 5.1 by Media Asia with even Bey sounding like he's in an airplane hanger. Anyone else have this problem or is it my disc?

Nope, not on mine.
Only thing that sounds a bit weird is Bey Logan himself, but that's cause he is speaking in his real speed and not via any PAL speed up.

not via any PAL speed up.
Really?, How fast or just a slight tweek because of the frames drop( with pal)

No, I meant how is voice sounds on those HKL DVDs and in those his voice is sped up because of PAL.
For those that heard him on those discs and buy this one, it's gonna be very surprising for them to hear how he really sounds. It's far deeper.
Anyone that doesn't believe that PAL speed doesn't change the sound are gonna believe it after they hear Mr. Sell-out on this disc.
BTW, his commentary is not all that great.
