Well it's a Mandarin film, not Cantonese, so I'd go for the HKL without hesitation.

No my freind i think you possibly did not understand my initial post. I have the movie and it has all
four audio tracks and what i was wondering was Which Audio version to watch.

I ended up going with the original mandarin which is not so different from the cantonese. It was a
good choice and great movie.

Typical, pathetic move of Red Sun. Old English dub is rubbish quality and it even jumps to the newer one from what I've seen.

Not worth it. I'm sure Dragon Dynasty will do a better job.

Actually i havent bought a single redsundvd in a year i get them factory sealed free. 38 to be exact
and counting. I would buy it though. I wont pretend i dont own any red sun dvd or are against them.

I dont have personal hang-ups over some stupid company of which i have no control. To me
Redsundvd, Ric Myers and Miramax really are just words because the amount of influence
i realistically have over these things and companies are ZERO... just like you.

Over the years i have noticed that alot of new comers, who have a genuine interest and innocent love of kung fu movies, get bullied around and then they never come back. Sometimes theres way too much political crap on here. I mean come on, this is a kung fu movie forum but theres so much arguing and bitching about things that don't have anything to do with KF cinema.

We have thousands of registered users yet less than 50 actually post. Of those 50 about 20 post on a regular basis. Of those 20, about 4 only post to say something negative.

By the way Ric Myers is an idiot. I dont base that on any wrong he's done in the martial arts cinema realm. I base it upon his sleazy lifestyle. I could really care less about what people say about his cinema involvement because as far as im concerned, he's a fan just like the rest of us the only difference is that he should represent us a little better than what he has.

as far as hapkido goes yes the New english dub covers a few lines the old dub was missing, but i will tell you this go and listen to Images dubs some sound worse.

I only posted a thread about a version of Hapkido I received for free and was excited to watch a new kung fu
movie. I only come here to talk about Kung Fu and Asian Cinema because it is just too cool.

It doesn’t feel good that people are always running down the posts on someone whenever they mention some
thing that doesn’t sit right with them. This forum could really be more understanding at times...

It gets out of control and is hard for some fans to cope with it. They go into hiding and stop wanting to post
here almost totally. It happens way more than it should ever and you know what it's not only harder on the
fans but also the moderators. So just try to hold back and be conscious.

I think we all admit that there is a lot of fighting on this forum there ever should be and that we can all really
try to get along better and you know what i think a lot more people would come to the forum out of the blue.

In this instance it's as i mentioned, and that’s only this.. im nobody so don’t accuse me of being a sellout or
call me a crazy promoter of Redsundvd because if you do it to me you’ll do it to someone else and I know
you guys but you might turn a new fan off towards kung fu; one of those fans may even grow to love kung
fu. And also I bet there are some older men and woman who remember it from the 70's and just found a
forum like this and are so excited... and they get run down. They are innocent.

This forum is a great source of information but it could be run smoother and a little more fan concious.
The arguing has gone on too long it's time someone said it. Now you can try and remark on my post and

and for HAPKIDO: lame Excuse. the Dutch VHS has it complete for the bits missing on the horrendous-Quality US Bootleg used as source. Comparing OTHER Dubs with a certain Movie's Dub is a bad joke and shows not admitting with delivering crap. Compare the Dutch VHS with the Bootleg Crap, that would be ok. not some Image DVD of another Movie with this here.

Actually its very good. I loved it, especially the special features.

The commentary over the movie was excellent and very revealing. I Learned alot watching it with the commentary on. The Brit doing the commentary (dont remember his name) really knew his stuff. He knew the most obscure actors real name, where they went after the film, their shoe size, how old they were, and what they had for breakfast yesterday.

Dragon Dynasty has been doing some good stuff as far as i can tell, and i hope they keep it up.

Hanzo speaks alot of truth. I had to change my name from shaolindogpaw to Shaolin Dog Paw... what a shame. :b

Stiller is a leech who feeds off the ignorance and stupidity of Kung Fu fans.

If there's anyone on this forum who still supports Red Sun/Pan Media then they deserve to be criticzed.

The fact that Stiller equates "his" product to drugs just shows his contempt for the drones handing over their cash to a thief.

I couldn't give a fork if that includes Gans or not.

I've always been a bit suspicious of the way Hanzosteel continually promotes Red Sun in spite of this forum's general feeling toward them and explainations as to why Red Sun is bad for business... but I guess some people will sell their integrity for free items.

A lot of people are coming to the forum for the first time and just want to talk about kung fu. Perhaps it's
their first time you know and they are really excited because he or she remembers it from the seventies...
and then you hop all over them and call them names when they have nothing to do with it.

Markgway if you really want to do something i feel you man but to slam the small time collector isnt the way.
A lot of people have left the forum or dont even post any more because of arguing.

I encourage If you really want to do something because you hate redsundvd and other bootlegs

Ah yes, I remember now that your name was Sleepman but got it confused with Shawman. Well it's true you have the right to buy or not buy boots but you have to realize the majority of the fans on this site are against the boots because it hurts the chance of legit quality releases in the long run. People are going to do what they want to no matter what is said and I realize this, but you have to realize when you make posts of supporting people like Red Sun your going to stir up some ill will on here. I admit that I used to buy Red Suns when I was ignorant of the fact that they hurt the chances of legit releases, but now I no longer support them because I know better. What you do is your business, but respect the fact that this site does not support boots that are sold in stores.

I'd just like to say there's nothing wrong with this forum, there's no more arguing here then any other forum/group on the internet, I've read on other sites people talking like that's all we do is argue here, bs, there's a difference between disagreeing and arguing, and trolls are unavoidable, sometimes people could lighten up, myself included (I've been in my fair share of disputes here, the last arguing with that idiot with the ridiculous acronym for a name:lol ), difference of opinion is always a good thing.
