The reviews I've read don't seem good at all, although the storyline sounds good to me. So considering it's Ti Lung/David Chang/Chang Chieh's first work together I want to hear what you guys have to say about the film???

In my opinion it is an above average film. It's not a Kung Fu flix but if you like a bit of drama and a good cast in your movies don't doubt it and buy it. And by the way, the music in the film is good too.

I thought it was a very good drama as well, just don't go into it thinking it's an action or kung fu film. Watch this one for the acting, Ti Lung does a great job.

Ti Lung is a wicked punk in this flick. This films pretty amusing actually. Definitely worth owning for any Ti Lung/David Chiang fan.

Quite good on the whole, but there's a really stupid moment that threatens to derail the whole film

Much the best!
If you like this, I'd also recommend MY SON with Jimmy Wang Yu, made about the same time in 1969.

Ti Lung looks really young in this one. Li Ching is mismatched and seems older.
Good drama with the sexy Angela Yu Chien thrown in. I liked it better the 2nd time I watched it.

I didn't like it too much either. Definitely the weaker of the Chang Cheh Ti Lung/David Chiang films. Don't let the cool trailer fool you. I say skip it.
