I was just notified today from HKFlix via email:

Dear Valued Customers-

We have just confirmed with Image Entertainment that the following Shaw
Brothers pre-orders have been postponed indefinitely:
- The Magic Blade
- Intimate Confessions Of A Chinese Courtesan

Therefore we will be forced to cancel these pre-orders (this will occur within 24 hours).

We apologize for any inconvenience, this matter was out of our hands.

Poor quality releases obviously didn't help... but I wonder how much the boots had to do with what I can only assume are poor sales?

Does this mean that BTP plans to cancel all the future Shaw films that Image was supposed to release or have they just moved the release dates to another time in the future?

is they simply pushed back some releases while this is settled. I'll know more on Monday.
