I recently purhased their House fo Traps VCD and it looked legit BUT it didnt have the card board slip Celestail VCD's usually have so I became suspicous

Can't comment on that but...

if you're referring to the slipcases that IVL once issued with their discs, that was discontinued some time ago (2005?).

HOT definitely did not come with a slipcase.

Hi welcome NoNiceTime, mine didn't come with a slip and i bought it from the least legit shop ever in chinatown, but it was good quality nothing wrong with it.
