By end of this year let's say ,..my goal for shaw bros. movies would be ,.. hmmmm say 300.

i'm very "SHAW" ,.. Celestial thought most people like to collect stuff .

did celestial figure out of 1000 movies released,.. a normal fan would want ATLEAST about 1/4TH of the collection

at $15 (avg.) per dvd

if you wanted 300 it would cost an average fan about $5,000.00 after taxes or shipping costs.

i'm not poor ,.. but isn't that a bit much... lol

i mean that's a used Mazda or a new Handai ,..imagine the debt you could clear up ,.. or the ladies you could "entertain"

don't get me wrong ,.. i understand the money that went into the project ,.. i just wondered if they ever thought true fans normally like to be loyal ,.. but just perhaps it's a bit tempting to want 25% of that line up and childhood memories without paying $5,000?

let me be one of many to thank Celestial for thinking of the fan !!! cause nobody puts out over 1000 films in 4 to 5 years ... WOW !!!

:rolleyes: ,..i rarely rant ... but in that garbled master thought ,.. there was the case ,.. alot of folks who boo boo copies of originals and bootlegs in public, even the folks in charge,.. have em' .

and my other thought was a company putting out over 1000 movies in a short period,.. knew they was going to see this happen to their product.

Anyone paying $16.67 (your math) for a disc is paying way above average.

1000 films? They only bought 760 and only released 565 (or so).

Hey, I like stats too but only when they're grounded in reality.

My math: after the all Celestial release way, I´ll be having like 50 films. Most of them I got for 10 bucks. Not a Hyundai, more like a PS3 and half a dozen of games. I far prefer the Shaws! :)
