Hau Chiu Sing does a pretty awesome drunken style in Snake in the Monkey's shadow. and Chang Shan pulls out the drunken sword style in Shaolin Temple Strikes Back. YEllow River fighter also has a nice drunken scene.

Does Hau Chiu Sing do drunken style in 5 Super fighters? I think he plays the teacher in that movie.

Gotta say Drunken Master is (in my opinion)best of the best. I have only been really seriously been into Kung Fu movies now for several months. Once I watch more of them I may have another opinion. I just finished watching Dance of the Drunken Mantis today and felt that this was pretty good though.
the bad guy in Martial Arts of Shaolin Temple (forgot his name, same guy that played the lead in Yellow River Fighter) has a nice drunken sword as well if i remember correctly

Yeah he has a great drunken fight in Yellow River Fighter. He is something else with a sword.

Gordon Liu's drunken boxing in Heroes of the East is really good. Also the other ones mentioned.

My faves are Drunken Master 1 and 2, Lau Kar Leung also performed a great Drunken Boxing fight against Gordon liu's buddies in his cameo from Shaolin Challenges Ninja.

Also Last Hero in China, starring Jet Li. Although his drunken style was a bit overdone, it looks cool because of Jet's speed and style.

Is that the one which includes (besides other stuff) a samurai and his sister?

World of Drunken Master was one of my favorites with Lee I-Min.
Also liked Story of Drunken Master (aka Drunken Fist Boxing) with Simon Yuen, Casanova Wong, and Sharon Yang Pan-Pan against Yen Shi-Kwan.
Shaolin Drunken Monk was good too IMO. Wished I knew who was the superkicking henchman of the main villain. Will have to watch the tape again.
As mentioned already, love Drunken Master 1 and 2, but was disappointed in Drunken Master 3. If anyone saw this, IMO the lead villain looks like a Justin Timberlake-wannabe LMAO

Drunken Tai Chi-Donnie Yen-student & Cheung-Yan Yuen-Master
have not watched in a while.I remember it being fairly good but can't remember if it had drunken style, another one I need to watch again.
Magnificent Butcher-Sammo Hung. I believe has drunken style. And I loved Sammo in this one.
I remember some Drunken Monkey in Mad Monkey Kung Fu also...

Actually, Drunken Tai Chi is not a style in the movie.. it's just a drunk teaching Tai Chi. :)

I think that was Brad Allen's first movie.

Yeah i am pretty sure. I remember a samurai who had a really bad fight scene. The movie is REALLY cheesy, but has some good drunken pole.

Drunken Master III, also known as Drunken Master Killer was Brad Allan's first movie, but he had a small role as a patron on the bus where Willie Chi fought Simon Yam.

I thought Brad Allen was the 15 year old looking white guy villain in DM3. He barely does any fighting in the finale.

You could be right. I'll check out my VCD of the movie tomorrow to check it out.

I've never seen Drunken Master 3, is it worth watching for the fights? I imagine with Lau Kar Leung choreographing they would have to be at least good....

There's a really terrible, terrible film with Sammo Hung from the 90's that also features his son. I can't remember the name of it, and I really don't want to inflict the film on myself again to find out. Anyway, Sammo plays a father who is in debt and who needs to fight bare knuckle fights even though he is too old for it. His son is taken into care by a police woman.
So anyway, there's a bar fight, the only fight worth watching in the film, where Sammo does drunken boxing. So it is worth seeing if only for that scene as I don't believe Sammo has ever done drunken boxing in any other movie.

The film you're talking about is The King Swindler. *shudder*
HORRIBLE film, but you're right, that drunken scene was pretty good.
Oh, and my favourite drunken kung fu film has to be Drunken Master. A classic in every way!

Drunken Monkey in a Tiger's Eye. Sam Seed, the Sifu, and Wong, his student, taking on the baddies in the teahouse... good stuff!

"King of Comic" a three min. brilliant drunken fight. Itīs uploaded on youtube courtesy of rdenn (search "mad drunken"), who has also uoploaded a great drunken scene form by Chow Yun Fat in the series "Beggar So".
Plus the boy of Thundering Mantis did some drunken boxing too
Young Vagabond, which is about beggar so, is pretty meh overall but it does have some nice moments, especially the short sequence when Jason Piao Piao first shows some moves to Gordon Liu

I have to give a special shout to Konoha's Blue Beast, Rock Lee! His drunken style fight scene was sweet! IMO.
Rock Lee is a character from the Naruto anime series. Both Lee & his teacher, Gai, have a remarkable resemblance to Bruce Lee. Both sport a Jeet Kune Do track suit. Although it's green, not yellow & black or solid black. Both sport a hair style similar to Bruce. When Gai is up against a very powerful enemy, he doesn't use genjutsu or ninjutsu, he ues the nunchuka! As he did against Kisami during the "Gaara kidnap arc." It is said that Lee shares Bruce's birthday.
However, Lee is handicapped. Unlike his teacher, who chooses to use only taijutsu, Lee can't do genjutsu or ninjutsu. He can only use taijutsu, straight martial arts, no tricks. However, his taijutsu is 1st class & if he consumes wine, he is a natural drunken boxer!
Not a hijacking attempt. I haven't watched a kung fu flick in quite awhile. To see one a my favorite kung fu styles in a Japanese cartoon was awesome!

ShaKwon

Drunken Monkey In A Tiger's Eye is the original title of Drunken Master, GN... not to be confused with above title.;)

I'm not a fan of monkey style. It was great for 70's kung fu comedies, but now it just looks silly on screen. I just wish LKL had done some other style for his big comeback. Drunken Monkey did have its moments though.
